The Steady Speaker Circle: Rocksteady Audio Series

Join the Steady Speaker Circle to build rocksteady speaking confidence, steady your voice, and speak with grounded, lasting impact.

My brewed black coffee had gone shockingly cold. The quiet café had suddenly filled up with mostly women, all in their sixties or above. All happily chatting away and belly-laughing intermittently (not something you often see in Japan, being loud in public). I was staring out the window, watching the trees bend in the wind, battling internally with one question my business coach had given me.

What does your client truly want?

On our call, I had answered with a tentative, “To…speak confidently?

Well, Ellie,” she’d said, “if you have to put it in question form, you know that’s not the answer. Sit with it. Spend some time with this.

And so sitting with it I was. Nestled somewhat comfortably amongst these cheerful, unapologetic women, I wondered if Starbucks would reheat my coffee for me. My brow was furrowed so deeply it would send a Botox specialist running for the hills.

The Moment I Found the “Soul of the System”

Frustrated, I took a mental break and started people-watching. There was one woman with a Dawn French bob, a sage green linen shirt, and a dazzling sparkly serpent pendant.

But that wasn’t what made her stand out.

Every time she spoke, people listened.

She wasn’t loud or dramatic. She didn’t need to be. She was confident, yes, but something deeper was going on.

She owned the room in the calmest possible way. She was enigmatic but steady, poised but relaxed. Engaging but grounded. Funny, but not hogging the show. Her companions were hanging on her every word.

And suddenly, there it was –  the answer to my coach’s question, sitting right in front of me.

You don’t want just to speak confidently.
You want to own the room so fully that your audience sits up straighter, leans in, and keeps talking about the conversation you started long after you’ve put the mic down.

You want the sound quality of your presence to linger – warm, authentic, resonant.

Because you’re not just here to speak. You’re here to connect – with the soul of your system – and that is both your body AND your audience.

When Your Voice Stops Cooperating

And why the heck not? You WISH that others could be as enamoured about it as you.
You’re fantastic at your job. You’re full of wisdom and expertise. You love what you do.

Except… when it comes to speaking in front of others.
Whether it’s colleagues, clients, or peers, your carefully rehearsed script disappears faster than the café’s last slice of cake.

  • Your mind blanks, replacing all that knowledge with white noise
  • Your voice shakes, betraying a lack of confidence and making your audience question your credibility
Your legs turn into adjustable speaker stands in unstable mode – trembling and shifting this way and that.

And you’re over it.

You’ve tried all the “active products”, the conventional hacks, social media has thrown at you:

  • Power posing like you’re Superman (to the point that your cats are considering buying you a cape)

  • Practicing lip-trills until people start asking if you’ve “had work done”

  • Imagining the audience naked (which, frankly, you can now never unsee)

None of it works because they all focus on the mind.

However, your body – the very key to becoming an authentic and dedicated speaker – has been left out of the conversation.

Reconnecting the System with The Steady Speaker Circle

That’s why I created the Steady Speaker Circle – to help you build rocksteady audio confidence by reconnecting with your body, not fighting against it.

Inside, through weekly trainings and intermittent audio series, we work on helping your body learn that speaking in front of others isn’t a threat to your survival.
That it’s safe to be seen, heard, and remembered.

When that happens, your voice naturally steadies.
Your message lands with the best possible performance.
Your presence becomes your power.

Think of it like tuning your internal system for the highest performance — finding a variety of designs that give you confidence AND that feel natural to you.

Because when your body and mind are aligned, your audience feels it.
Your voice becomes your premium version – smooth, resonant, unforgettable.

And who benefits most?
Your audience does.
They’ll remember you for how you made them feel, much like the woman in the café and her friends.
